Important Spiritual Tips Especially for These Days

Test all preachers, miracle workers and other people of God and whatever they say, since the Bible says we should 'test all spirits'. Test by comparing whatever they say with what is in the Bible – both should match.
Ask God for the gift of discernment of spirits. Because many people are earning money by misusing the name of God. Genuine men and women of God are rare to find but they are there.
Some people are getting trolled like anything since they claim wrong thing about God with regard to His materialistic blessings
Some so-called men and women of God live a lavish life (when the Bible talks about simplicity – we can live a comfortable life but we need not live an extravagant life) and stock up illegal money, gold and other assets, and get caught through the income tax department. We should be careful with such people…God will do amazing things through you...and He will give you the fruit of the Holy Spirit (love, patience, kindness, etc.,) and also the gifts of the Holy Spirit (prophecy, healing, working miracles, etc.,).

Gifts with the fruit is powerful but gifts without the fruit (that’s how people become greedy to use the gifts for their selfish gain - to amass wealth) is dangerous.
When the Bible clearly says that the love of money is the root of all evil…we should live a comfortable life and have a good house and a good car, but many houses and many cars are not needed right? So many people are living without basic food, clothing and shelter
Mostly, no true apostle or prophet will add a prefix to their name themselves as apostle or prophet. Other people might call them like that. Kathryn Kulmann was an apostle but I don’t think she called herself like that.
By doing only these  (according to the Bible), you can identify if a person is genuine (‘By doing only these' in the sense 'by doing only these to identify the genuine from the fake'...in general, you should do various other things such as praise, worship, etc.,):
1. Read the Bible daily as you always do - you can easily filter out the genuine people from the fake people by comparing whatever they say with what the Bible says - both should match. The Bible has all the answers - for not only this: for everything we need in life. If it is an online full Bible, you can read but don't read just excerpts from the Bible online - they might have typing or other intentional mistakes.
2. If you doubt any thought you get or anything based on what someone says or on any other reason, chase that thought (or anything you doubt to be fake) away in the name of Jesus (use His full name ‘Jesus Christ’ or His first name ‘Jesus’ but don't use only the name 'Christ') - if it is fake, it will flee. If it is genuine, it will stay.
3. Any spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh is not a spirit from God.
The second point above is because the Bible says  the name of Jesus is the name above all names and it doesn’t say that about the name of ‘Christ’…so we should use the name ‘Jesus’ in full or short form. We should also conclude our prayers in Jesus’s name and use Jesus’s name in between our prayer (full or short form) – not compulsorily always but as often as we can.

More Spiritual Tips:
Tip for our spiritual life: I used to think that we should set apart at least one hour per day for God. But, thinking more about it, I feel like it would be even better to spend time with God during everything we do (of course, when people are not watching or hearing us - as God doesn't want us to look like lunatics), since the Bible (and other scriptures of other religions too, I think) say that whatever we do, we should do it for the glory of God. Another reason why this would be better is, it would integrate our time with the one who loves us the most and who we love the most into our full day. We should, of course, spend at least one hour of quiet time also with God (as the Bible and other religions' scriptures too, I think, stress its importance and its minimum duration).
God will work in us and through us amazingly when we surrender ourselves completely at His altar..and say we are nothing...regarding everything about us, we will should do this..our beauty, talents, intelligence, wisdom, thinking, good qualities, spirituality too, everything...when we do this, God will take over us completely and everything will be awesome...
Tip to avoid distractions and tempations: Avoid anything that feels like a distraction or like a temptation to you when working on your daily, short and long-term and lifetime goals (mainly your spiritual goals) - since in today's ever changing and advancing technology world, newer and newer distractions and temptations keep coming up.
Prayer tip: The Bible says that we don't know what we should pray for but that the Holy Spirit alone knows what to pray for and that the Holy Spirit himself prays for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. So whenever you pray for anything for you or others or anything else, you can tell the Holy Spirit that you don't know what to pray for for that topic and ask Him to pray for the same with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Romans 8: 26
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
“When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. - Deuteronomy 18: 9
According to this verse, we should not even "learn to follow" abominable practices (so I think even those that we doubt to be abominable - not sure). God is slow to anger, merciful and forgiving, and at the same time, he is the lion of Judah and none can exist before his anger.
Since God has revealed himself in history. Eph. 1:11
We are explicitly commanded to make known God's works. Ps. 105:1.
Christianity is not a mere ethical or doctrinal system but is uniquely grounded in historical events. 1 Cor. 15
Because history is the vehicle for God's work in the world, we should expect to learn from it.
We can consume the content that doesn't have abomination since Jesus said in the Bible: My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. - John 17: 15, 16
We should be in the world but not of it. We can consume the content that doesn't have  abomination.
Also , the Bible says we (all except God) are all gods too, but we are gods who know nothing and understand nothing. God alone is the God who knows and understands.
‭Psalms 82:5-6 NIV‬
[5] “The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. [6] “I said, ‘You are “gods”; you are all sons of the Most High.’
Philippians 4: 13 - I can do all things through [a]Christ who strengthens me.
1 Thessalonians: 5:- 16- 18 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
This is how we can rejoice in God: Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands. - Psalm 112: 1

So, with God's help, we can discern what is holy and what is abominable; and by seeking his help by praying continuously, rejoicing always and giving thanks in all circumstances, we can do all things through him who strengthens us. So we should be fearless too except having the fear of God.
Since God said  in the Bible: My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. - John 17: 15, 16
Since we should be in the world but not of it
We can watch other religions content too..but those without abomination since the Bible says "For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship—and this is what I am going to proclaim to you." - Acts 17: 23
Not only in the content we consume..in all that we perceive through all our senses and extra sensory perceptions too, we should have nothing to do with abominable things.
Psalm 119: 97
Oh, how I love your law!
I meditate on it all day long.
[8] Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Joshua: 1: 8

My whole being, praise the Lord; all my being, praise his holy name. 2 My whole being, praise the Lord and do not forget all his kindnesses. 3 He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. 4 He saves my life from the grave and loads me with love and mercy.

Psalm 103: 1

Another verse asks us to pray continually and yet another verse asks us to rejoice in the Lord always. Recently, I am watching comedy (without the things God doesn't like) many times a day, second to delighting in God's commandments, and they really help.

God wants us to pray continually (but kind of a passive prayer, I think, not sure - since otherwise we might not be able to work).

1 Corinthians 11 1 - The apostle strove to do the same. To imitate them, we must live life as a living sacrifice. We can imitate Christ, not in the sense of enduring the agony of His crucifixion, but by obediently walking in His footsteps (I Peter 2:21) and by showing love and thankfulness to Him by keeping His precepts.
We can imitate Christ (not according to the meaning of the word imitate) but not in the sense of bearing with the agony of his crucifixion, but by obediently walking in his footsteps (not according to the meaning of the word 'imitate').
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
romans 10: 9
Pray continually but don't be overly righteous. God asks in the Bible why we want to destroy ourselves by being overly righteous (or something similar to that, he asks, I think, don't remember).

Proverbs 6:6-8

“Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest.

We all waste time. But the verse above motivates us to continue to be active always even during the times we don't feel like it, without wasting time. If something distracts you, you can convert it to something to be used to praise God. For example, if an instrumental music tune distracts you, you can use the same tune to praise God.
