Some more Bible verses about God's anger, and one more verse

Image
Some more Bible verses about God's anger, and one more verse (we should prepare all the more for Jesus Christ's second coming) Nahum 1 New International Version 1 A prophecy concerning Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite. The Lord’s Anger Against Nineveh 2 The Lord is a jealous and avenging God;     the Lord takes vengeance and is filled with wrath. The Lord takes vengeance on his foes     and vents his wrath against his enemies. 3 The Lord is slow to anger but great in power;     the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm,     and clouds are the dust of his feet. 4 He rebukes the sea and dries it up;     he makes all the rivers run dry. Bashan and Carmel wither     and the blossoms of Lebanon fade. 5 The mountains quake before him     and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence,     the world and all who live in it. 6 Who can w...

About Praying Continually

Since God asks us to pray continually in Thessalonians 5: 17, we can also download prayers and let them play mildly in the background always. Since God asks us to pray continually (in His Word), by playing prayers in the background 24 hours a day, doing one thing at a time regarding spiritual and secular tasks without multi-tasking also helps a lot in doing secular and spiritual tasks to our best. Praying continually and meditating on the Bible day and night by letting the audio Bible play in the background 24/7 also helps a lot, since the Bible asks us to pray continually and also to meditate on God's word day and night.

Everything is meaningless - take food and enjoy what you have earned

Ecclesiastes 1: 2 “Meaningless! Meaningless!”   says the Teacher. “Utterly meaningless!   Everything is meaningless.” This Bible verse says everything is 'meaningless' ('illusion' in the Tamil bible), so we can always think of everything, including ourselves, as meaningless and illusion. By doing so, we can avoid all fears and negativity. The Bible says everything is meaningless but it also says the Heavenly Father is over all and that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are above all. So, the Heavenly Father is over all meaningfulness and meaninglessness too and Jesus and the Holy Spirit are above all meaninglessness and meaningfulness too. We should take comfort in this knowledge always. To the negative thoughts and all negativity and to all fears (which are not from God, since the Bible says God has not given us the spirit of fear) and even to the positive things (to avoid pride and other qualities displeasing to God), we can shout always in our minds saying 'meaningless...

Christ is all and in all - and how we should be

Image
Colossians 3: 11 to 25 According to verse 11 below, all are Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ is in all too (the Holy Spirit is within those who have received the Holy Spirit), but except God, all are gods who know nothing and understand nothing, and God alone is the God who knows and understands (according to Psalm 82: 5 and 6). So, we should be fearless except having the fear of God. From verse 12, it is given how all we should be. - - - Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. 12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. 15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as memb...

Sharing Spiritual Learnings

The Bible says the gifts and calling are irrevocable. Even for fun, we shouldn't use negative words and terms like idiot, fool, and so on, because of these Bible verses about the tongue (it's hard not to use them since we tend to use them during times of anger or irritation, but we should try our best to avoid it and other sins too - small and big sins are equally wrong in God's eyes. The Bible says we were conceived in sin so we can't be 100 percent sinless on earth, but to our maximum we should try to avoid all sins): The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one's life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. - in James 3 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. - Proverbs 18: 21 It is very difficult to live a true Christian life,.but we should. It is very difficult because one verse in Mathew 7 says like this: For wide is the gate an...

Important Spiritual Tips Especially for These Days

Test all preachers, miracle workers and other people of God and whatever they say, since the Bible says we should 'test all spirits'. Test by comparing whatever they say with what is in the Bible – both should match. Ask God for the gift of discernment of spirits. Because many people are earning money by misusing the name of God. Genuine men and women of God are rare to find but they are there. Some people are getting trolled like anything since they claim wrong thing about God with regard to His materialistic blessings Some so-called men and women of God live a lavish life (when the Bible talks about simplicity – we can live a comfortable life but we need not live an extravagant life) and stock up illegal money, gold and other assets, and get caught through the income tax department. We should be careful with such people…God will do amazing things through you...and He will give you the fruit of the Holy Spirit (love, patience, kindness, etc.,) and also the gifts of the Holy Sp...

Our Presence Should Be a Comfort

Image
This is a thought taken from a sermon that I heard recently. Jesus said, 'You are the salt of the earth' and He said it with a deep meaning. Without salt, any food dish, however great it is, misses taste. In the same way, people should feel that something is missing in our absence. So, when we are present in a place, we must see to it that our presence adds value to the people in that place. Only then will they miss us in our absence. Our presence should offer comfort, encouragement, happiness, peace, and positive vibes. Continue walking with God and being the salt of the earth.
